Edwin Frank is a poet and the founder and editorial director of the New York Review of Books Classics series.

The editorial director of the New York Review of Books Classics series since its launch in 1999, Edwin Frank was born in Boulder, Colorado, in 1960 and educated at Harvard and Columbia Universities. He has published in the New York Review of Books and the Nation, among other journals, and is the author of poetry books including The Further Adventures of Pinocchio, Snake Train and The Red Thread.
