Kira Josefsson is a writer, editor, and translator working between Swedish and English.

The winner of a PEN/Heim grant, her work has also been shortlisted for the Bernard Shaw Prize. She lives in Queens, New York, and regularly writes on US events and politics in the Swedish press. She is the translator of The Details by Ia Genberg, shortlisted for the International Booker Prize 2024.
