Aniruddhan Vasudevan
Aniruddhan Vasudevan is a sociocultural anthropologist who writes and translates between Tamil and English.
His translations include One Part Woman, A Lonely Harvest, and Trial by Silence by Perumal Murugan, and A Night with a Black Spider by Ambai. Vasudevan holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin.
Aniruddhan Vasudevan’s translation of Pyre was longlisted for the International Booker Prize 2023, announced on March 14, 2023.
