Francine Stock is a radio and television presenter and novelist.

She has presented radio and television programmes on current affairs and the arts from BBC2’s Newsnight to Radio 4’s Front Row and since 2004 has presented The Film Programme. She has also published two novels, A Foreign Country and Man-Made Fibre, and also¬†In Glorious Technicolor, a history of cinema. Since 2005, she has been chair of the Tate Members Council and became the first female Honorary Fellow of Jesus College, Oxford in 2007.
