Caroline Gascoigne is an editor and publisher.

She graduated in English Literature at Cambridge in 1981 and began writing for a number of titles including Homes and Gardens and She. Gascoigne worked on the Sunday Telegraph and Daily Telegraph magazines before joining The Sunday Times in 1999 where she went on to become literary editor in 1999 before moving into publishing. She began at Century Hutchinson, part of Random House, and then moved to another of their imprints, Cornerstone where, as their publisher at large, she oversaw Tony Blair’s memoirs and publishes authors including Sebastian Faulks and Robert Harris.
