Eve Smith

She was involved in governance and high-level administration and policy-setting in a number of charity and not for profit organisations in the UK, covering an eclectic mix of medical, health and cultural concerns. Her background was as a lawyer, and she was a partner first in a commercial law firm in the City of London, and then in a leading charity law practice. Her portfolio of roles maintained an eclectic mix, but with an emphasis on literature and book prizes.

She left the Booker Prize Foundation in January 2023 after working on the prizes for 18 years.
