Jason Cowley is a journalist, magazine editor and writer.
He is the editor of the New Statesman and a former editor of Granta. He has also worked on the Times and the Guardian. In 2020, he was voted Editor of the Year, Politics and Current Affairs, for the fourth time at the British Society of Magazine Editors awards. He is the author of a memoir, The Last Game, and a book of essays, Reaching for Utopia. His latest book, Who Are We Now? Stories of Modern England, is published by Picador (2022).
