Anthony Gutman is head of the EMEA Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs
He is a member of the European Management Committee, Investment Banking Executive Committee, and the Firmwide Client Franchise Committee. Previously, Anthony was global co-head of Investment Banking Services and co-head of UK Investment Banking. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2007 and was named partner in 2012.
Prior to joining the firm, he spent seven years at Citigroup. Earlier in his career, Anthony qualified as a corporate solicitor at Freshfields in London.
Anthony is a board member of the Booker Prize Foundation and chairman of The Tate Gallery Foundation. He is also a member of The Sutton Trust strategic advisory and development board.
Anthony earned a BA in Modern History at Worcester College, Oxford University, and a CPE and LPC degree from the London College of Law.
