We are hiring! The Booker Prizes have a unique place in the literary sphere, enjoying an enviable reputation as a cultural institution that is highly respected, much loved and hotly debated throughout the world

In 2021, we launched a new digital strategy to showcase “our” nominated books alongside their exceptional authors in one unique online space.

Called the Booker Library, we aim to create a unique and entertaining cultural destination that brings fresh attention to the more than 500 extraordinary books that have been nominated for the Booker Prize and International Booker Prize over the past 50 years. We believe that a blend of original writing, interviews, audio, video, manuscripts and interactives will bring new insights and attention to the books, their themes, subject matters and the art of fiction writing itself.

We are building a small editorial team to take responsibility for executing this plan. Come and join us!

Current vacancies

Director of Finance and Operations

This is a new senior role at the Booker Prize Foundation: a thought partner for the Director, and a strategic financial thinker with budget oversight who will see that compliance is ensured on all fronts. The successful applicant will play a crucial part in a rapidly evolving organisation; this is a year-round, hands-on job, not driven by peaks around the awarding of the two Booker Prizes.

Social Media Manager

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to create impactful social media content on multiple platforms to help us reach a broader audience, all over the world.
